Shadow of Cheoyong is a contemporary representation of a peaceful 1,100 year old dance that combines myth with Confusionism, Buddism, and the concept of moral duties. What started as a mythical hero that defeated a demon spirit through dance, is now a prayer for a modern society. The dance hopes for a peaceful world, teaches the virtues of generosity, and prays for the good of humanity. But what is the myth behind the mask? Do we live in a society deserving of such blessings or are we doomed to repeat the errors of the past. Shadow of Cheoyong pushes the boundary of cultural myth and finds its true place in modern society.

Steamroller presents The Earth Has Shifted. Picking up where Big Homo Love Explosion leaves off, The Earth Has Shifted poses the question are things really getting better for LGBT folks? Reminiscences of a trip to Laramie, Wyoming to visit the memorial erected in memory of Matthew Sheppard, making out in front of the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, live discussions with clergy on faith and its role in both addressing and contributing to homophobia are combined with kick-ass dancing to look at the power of community to combat homophobia. The Earth Has Shifted will talk about courage in the face of adversity, the importance of taking a stand and sharing our stories as a remedy to invisibility.
