The Aspen Blind Cafe Valentine's Dinner/Concert In the Pitch Dark!
Come Dine In The Pitch Dark to the most romantic, enlightening & inspiring Valentine's evening you could ever imagine!
The Aspen Blind Cafe Valentine's Dinner and Concert in the pitch dark is a very special 'once in a life time' Valentine's Experience you will never forget or SEE! Held at the famed Sky Hotel in downtown Aspen, CO, you will experience a mind bending / heart opening evening of outstanding food, community and music.
First, you will be led into total darkness to your table by one of our blind guides, where you will dine to a delicious 3 course dinner prepared to delight your senses by The Sky Hotel's star Chef. With the love and laughter of those at your table you will share your dinner family-style (passing the bread and butter to one another) building friendship and community. (See Menu Below)
Second, you will celebrate & explore the darkness with your keynote speaker, Gerry Leary. Once a blind car mechanic for over 40 years and now a master coffee roaster in Boulder, CO, Gerry will lead us all down the rabbit hole initiating a community discussion in the dark where you will have the unique opportunity to participate in a question & answer with your blind waitstaff. *After the event we'll have time for additional questions where you can meet the waitstaff in the light personally.
Third, you will be asked as a group to hold silence during a music performance as you experience a very special Valentine's concert performed by Rosh & One Eye Glass Broken (Guitar, Voice, Cello, Violin and Viola). This is a 'quiet listening audience experience', NOT background music. Many of you have never experienced live music without the distraction of visual conditioning, social etiquette & your cell phones!
This is NOT just a another dinner in the dark...it's a community experience where people connect, learn and grow from working together to participate in something greater than themselves.
The Aspen Blind Cafe is designed to help you feel more alive, awake, present and connected to your world. Ten percent of the proceeds from this event will be donated to a local organization that supports the blind in Aspen. (Organization TBA)

GENERAL ADMISSION: $175.00/person

-Over 2 Hours of romance in totally complete pitch darkness...with your sweet heart and/or friends!
-A Donation to help others! *10% of proceeds from this event will be donated to help the blind in Aspen.
-The Black Box - Open this in the dark and explore what's inside to delight your senses and make you smile!
-An Valentine's Experience he/she will never forget or SEE!
*PLEASE,PLEASE...Make sure you know what seating you purchased tickets for 5PM or 8:30PM. If you arrive at the wrong time we may not be able to accommodate you as we almost always sell out and won't have room to fit you in. * Valet Parking is Available at The Sky Hotel for $15.
