CULTIVATE : EXPERIENCE ONE
Everwood Farmstead Foundation invites you to join us at Everwood on October 3, 2015 to enjoy an afternoon of music, food, friends and the beauty of Western Wisconsin in the peak of autumn as we raise funds to support the work of the Foundation!
CULTIVATE offers two different experiences and you have selected EXPERIENCE ONE.
With EXPERIENCE ONE, you will be the first to arrive for a special, intimate gathering. You'll take a seat at the long barn table as acclaimed chef JIM CHRISTIANSEN of Heyday Restaurant in Minneapolis prepares a three-course lunch from locally sourced ingredients. Wine will be provided along with custom cocktails prepared by JASON SUSS of A Proper Pour. Following lunch, you will treated to a private music set by singer, songwriter, CHRIS KOZA. Afterwards, take a walk on our trails, meet one of the resident chickens or play a yard game. When you build up a thirst, we'll have spotted cow beer on tap along with a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. About 3:30, we'll ring the bell to gather in the barn to listen to singer, songwriters JEREMY MESSERSMITH and CHRIS KOZA. And when you get hungry again, you'll enjoy an entree of your choice from Gastrotruck.

JIM CHRISTIANSEN of Heyday Restaurant in Minneapolis recently made the prestigious list of Food & Wine Magazine's Best New Chefs and was honored at the 33rd annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. Christiansen is noted for his hyper-seasonal, close-to-home ingredient philosophy as well as his ability to create gorgeous and exquisitely flavorful dishes.
JASON SUSS, from A Proper Pour has worked at some of the Twin Cities' finest restaurants including La Belle Vie. He never shies away from a pun and mixes incredibly creative specialty and craft cocktails.
Paste Magazine calls CHRIS KOZA'S band, Rogue Valley, one of Minnesota's best. Their music has been featured in TV shows and movies including "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." Koza performs nationally and has supported such artists as Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Michaelson, and The Jayhawks.
Time Magazine named JEREMY MESSERSMITH as one of 14 Artists to Watch in 2014. Last August, he made a powerful network TV debut on the David Letterman Show. Heart Murmurs, his latest album, is a bold, self-assured artistic statement by a musician who continues to craft lovely, unforgettable songs.
GASTROTRUCK is on a mission to deliver handcrafted moden midwestern cuisine. Only the best ingredients sourced from sustainable, environmentally responsible partners are used. They believe strongly in respecting the food and the environment and take great pride in their efforts to source locally.
