Harps of Gold
CHORUSES TO PERFORM "HARPS OF GOLD" CONCERTS
Richmond, VA  The Richmond Men's Chorus and The Richmond Women's Chorus will present  joint concerts celebrating the holidays entitled "HARPS OF GOLD".  Benjamin Britten's masterpiece "Ceremony of Carols", accompanied by harp, will be the centerpiece of the Women's Chorus program. Selections performed by the Men's Chorus will include new arrangements of several well-known holiday carols plus the area premiere of the Hanukkah anthem "Over the Skies of Yisrael" and a rousing new "Alleluia" by Reginald Unterseher.
Directed by Artistic Director, Timothy Gillham, "Harps of Gold" will be performed Saturday December 10 at 8:00pm and Sunday December 11 at 3:00pm at Ginter Park Presbyterian Church, 3601 Seminary Avenue in Richmond's north side.
Discount advance general seating ($15, $10 senior and student) can be purchased online at www.monumentcitymusic.org or at the door ($20, $15 senior/student).
