Torbreck Wine Dinner

Thursday evening, October 20th, Local Three is pleased to welcome Pete Kight, owner of Torbreck Vineyards and Tower Wine & Spirits for an intimate wine dinner. Reception is at 6:30pm, dinner at 7pm.

We will explore the notion that Torbreck is "Australia's Grand Cru" by tasting six of Torbreck's critically-lauded wines next to their "grand cru" counterparts from the Old World."

Chef Chris Hall will prepare a spectacular menu to accompany the wines:

Torbreck Juveniles and Jean-Louis Chave Cotes du Rhone
Torbreck Struie and John Duval "Entity" shiraz

Braised Beef Short Rib - cabbage, cassis glaze

2nd Course:
Torbreck Steading and Domaine de la Janasse "Chaupin" Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Torbreck Pict and Pradeaux Bandol

Roasted Maple Leaf Farms Duck Breast - spiced lentils, greens

3rd Course:
Torbreck RunRig and Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage

Grilled Loin of Venison - celery root, brussels sprouts, fruit chutney

4th Course:
Torbreck Descendant

Pear & Gorgonzola Tart - Candied Bacon

Tickets are $98.50 per person (including tax & gratuity).
($75 ticket price, $7.30 tax & $16.20 gratuity - a small processing fee from Brown Paper Tickets will apply.)
