Workshops in Houston with Coco Lectric: 3 Class Pass

Madame Fantastick knows you are already pumped for Dem Damn Dames show with the amazing and multitalented Coco Lectric. But now you also can get excited to LEARN from her! For one night only, Coco is offering 3 WORKSHOPS for Houston burlesque lovers.

7PM BOMBASTIC CLASSIC
Release your inner burlesque starlet with an emphasis of classic dance techniques, statuesque poses and walks, and utilization of props all to sassy, swinging big band music. The class consists of a variety of stretches and warm-ups based on dance, pilates and yoga, followed by across the floor routines which utilize jazz, ballet and classic bumps and grinds in a short dance combination. For the full experience, please bring high-heeled shoes.

8PM BIG BAD BOA
The feathers go flying in this fun review of classic boa technique with a twist. Learn to wear your boa with pride and become a boa wielding pro. Your instructor also teaches basic dance steps, turns and walks to accompany boa technique. The class includes a short dance combination. Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch in.

9PM BIG BAD FANS
A good fan dance can tease and tantalize, but wielding this beautiful prop isn't always as easy as it looks. Your instructor will guide you through basic fan technique including holds, poses and reveals. Simple dance instruction will accompany this class to really accentuate the beauty and grace of the American fan dance. Please bring your own fans, if you have them, high-heeled shoes and clothes you can stretch in.

NOTE: You do not need fans or boas to complete these classes although they are helpful.
