2016 APA Divisions 35/45 Dance
This annual dance is conducted as part of the national convention of the American Psychological Association. The 2016 Convention will be in Denver, Colorado.. The Dance is sponsored by two of the Association's Divisions (or special interest groups) -- Division 35 (Psychology of Women),Section 1 (Black Women) and Division 45 (Cultural, Ethnic and Racial Psychology). This year, the following will be the Dance's 'Social Justice Partners': Divisions 44 (LGBT) 51 ( ); the APA Early Career Psychologists (ECP) Office and APAGS.
The theme of the 2016 Dance is JUSTICE AND UNITY, and will feature a DJ, world music, cash bar -- and an APA CELEBRITY SOULTRAIN that will celebrate our outstanding mentors and icons.
Profits from the Dance willbenefit a local community-based human service agency whose mission and interests parallel those of the sponsoring Divisions. So ome and dance for a cause!
Electronic ticket sales are available through the night of the Dance, including at the door of the event.
