White Bison, Inc., is an American Indian non-profit charitable organization and is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. White Bison offers sobriety, recovery, addictions prevention, and wellness/Wellbriety learning resources to the Native American community nationwide.

White Bison is a proud facilitator of the Wellbriety Movement. Wellbriety means to be sober and well. Wellbriety teaches that we must find sobriety from addictions to alcohol and other drugs and recover from the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol on individuals, families and whole communities. The "Well" part of Wellbriety is the inspiration to go on beyond sobriety and recovery, committing to a life of wellness and healing everyday.

Preguntas y Respuestas

Pregunta: I am from the Tewa, Apache, and Chickahominy tribes. My father, Swift Eagle, was in the first graduating class of the boarding school -- Santa Fe Indian School. I'm 61, Live in New Paltz, NY, and would like to come to this conference. May I come?
Respuesta: Yes, the conference is open to everyone who wants to learn more about the impacts of historical trauma in Native American communities. We will have some things that are more specific to Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) people, but everyone is welcome!!
