Zephyr & ilvs: Chef/Artist Series
ilvs strauss & Zephyr Paquette The prodigal daughter returns! Zephyr Paquette, recent Chef at Coastal Kitchen, (formerly of Skelly and the Bean and here in our very own kitchen, The Elliott Bay Café,) teams up with ilvs strauss, analytical chemist turned multi disciplinary performance artist and lighting designer. ilvs' art ranges from haiku poetry, to anamorphic outdoor sculptures, illustrated storytelling (aka Slide Shows), to narrated dance performance. Her work has been shown at Seattle Art Museum, Henry Art Gallery, Odyssey Idea Gallery, On the Boards, Northwest Film Forum, Century Ballroom, Seattle Rep, Bumbershoot, Risk/Reward (PDX), Kirkland Arts Center, and Action Adventure Theater (PDX). We can truly only imagine what these two fiercely creative artists will cook up together.
