Roller Derby 101 with Sacred City Derby Girls
Curious about roller derby? Want to hone your skating skills before Sacred City Derby Girls try outs in August? Join us for a fun introduction to roller derby during which you will learn basic skating skills and find out what it's like to be a derby girl! Basic derby skills such as skating stride, stops, and rules will be covered. Rental gear will be available. Must be 18+ to attend.
This event is closed to the public, but friends and family can come and watch for the last 30 minutes to see your amazing new derby skills! Merch will be on sale so that you can start repping your new favorite derby team! We can't wait to see you there!
P.S. Attendees will have the $10 try out fee waived!
P.P.S. Please wear comfortable socks and athletic shoes. Don't forget a water bottle!
