In A Constant Sate Of Allowing - a movement workshop
Workshop description
This 2 hour workshop will be an opportunity to focus your intent through movement and release self judgment to enrich bodily expression.  Participants will activate their imagination through the exploration of structured movement improvisations and gain resources to assist with the process of storytelling, both individually and as an ensemble.  This workshop experience is designed to stimulate critical thinking and discover the freedom to move creatively with confidence. Workshop participants will also have an opportunity to perform a brand new piece with Efflorescence to an original music composition as part of the Prism event the same night.

11am to 1pm

play collaborative arts venue

* Note to participants.
Due to the nature of the floor the workshop maybe done in shoes or bare feet.  Please bring water and a yoga mat for warming up.  Please arrive a little before 11am to get into your body and fill out some paperwork.  There is ample street parking available.

If you are planning on performing with us later that evening during Prism please have an all black outfit that you can move in.  Performers will need to arrive back at play for a tech run of the piece at 6pm.  More detail for performers after the workshop.
