Storytellers:
Adam Wade
Adam, a 20-time Moth StorySlam Champion (2-time GrandSlam Champion), has been a featured performer on Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and NBCs Late Night with Conan OBrien.
He was featured in a New York Times piece on storytelling, "Telling Tales With a Tear and a Smile." Time Out New York named Adam to their "critic's Pick" list, called him one of the best comedians around and said, "You can't not like him." You may have heard him on All Things Considered, The Moth radio show, Snap Judgment. Now you'll hear him at Out by Ten.
Tricia Rose Burt
Tricia, who ditched the corporate world to become a Moth StorySlam Winner and a visual artist, reveals two things the minute she opens her mouth she is a deep southerner and a mesmerizing storyteller.
Her riotous story, "How To Draw A Nekkid Man," was downloaded more than a quarter million times and selected for the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). Her tales of success and failure, questioning conformity and celebrating difference, will make you howl with laughter -- and move you to wonder what you're doing with your life.
David Crabb
David Crabb, a Moth Story Slam host and three-time Moth Slam winner, is a performer writer and teacher in NYC. His solo show, Bad Kid, was named a New York Times Critics'Pick.
His memoir based on his Bad Kid show is coming out next month as a Harper Perennial book.
The Wall Street Journal praised him as a performer capable of guiding a crowd "from belly laughs to pin-drop silence."
Musicians:
Ann Klein
Ann, a spirited singer/songwriter with blues, rock and country running in her veins, was a featured guitar soloist with Ani DiFranco and has played, written for and recorded with the likes of Kate Pierson of the B-52s, Randall Woolf & Maurice Sendak (for a ballet of "Where the Wild Things Are"), Jon King (of the Gang of Four), the American Composers Orchestra (concert at Carnegie Hall).
She has lent her expert guitar skills on Broadway in "Grease", "9 to 5", "Baby It's You", "Everyday Rapture" and "Kinky Boots". And she plays nearly anything with strings including guitar, mandolin, dobro and lap steel. She is most proud of her ability to wah wah her way out of any solo, anytime.

Out by Ten Co-Founder and producer, Susan Seliger, hand picks the best musicians, storytellers and multimedia performers to create a night of inspiration (not to mention free wine and cheese) the fourth Thursday of the month, in a downtown NYC salon-space (Spectrum NYC, written up in the New York Times as a great place to get your culture fast!).
