2015 CIDCI Forum
While there is still a strong focus on first cost in the
development of new facilities, there is a trend toward
better understanding how decisions made early in the
development process impact the long term operational
costs of the facility. With the advent of new simulation
tools for both energy and building operations, a better
understanding of the building's energy and operational
costs can be explored early in the design process.
This FORUM will explore how owners manage their decision
making process. What information is valuable to them, what
causes them to make changes during the process, and
what they consider good results?
