Savagely emotional and relatively unexpected jazz standards from the 30's 40's and 50's, interpreted by singer Brisa Roché. Steve Smith and Baron Wolfe spelling out spacious structures, with plenty of air to fly on and room for fun. No scatting, plenty of soaring and laughing, with an element of story-telling not always associated with "jazz" or standards. A very special evening of music from the Brisa Roché Trio not to be missed.
