Dream Dialogue
A relational and experiential approach towards dreaming

Saturday workshop: We will explore how dreams can be used as an awareness practice. This has roots in the lucid dreaming and the old Buddhist tradition of dream yoga. In order to do that we will look at three basic characteristics of dreams and play with the different states of consciousness that arise out of this exploration. We will also do some experiential oriented dreamwork, in which you get in touch with your body and build a relationship and experience with the dream beings.

About the speaker: Machiel Klerk is a licensed therapist with almost 20 years of dreamwork expertise. He followed a course at the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, and a Master's degree at the Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California. Machiel is the founding president of the Jung Society of Utah and the Jung Platform. He developed a way of working with dreams called Dream Dialogue and recently released a very well received CD on dreams. He lectures internationally and gives workshops on dreams in Europe, Africa and the USA.
