Butterfly
Butterfly tells the musical tale of a woman, whose personality is overwhelmed by the severe physical and verbal abuse by her father, that she can't talk to men. As her story of abuse is shared with Professor Jake Kelly, a behavioral psychologist, he uses professional techniques to help her reach out and overcome her tragic childhood. The play sees her change from an inhibited, frightened woman to a strong partner in a new relationship with a musician, himself having been abused during his now dissolved marriage. And, yes, Klara, a fairy tale can come true! Starring: *Noel Britton, Rachel Cyprus, Jeremy Herzig, Alexander Lvovsky, Maria Paris, Michael Richardson, and David Michael Trevino (*appears courtesy of Actors Equity Association) Directed by Derrel Maury, Produced by John Lant, and Written by Michael Antin. Musical Direction by Lou Briggs with Lighting Design by Sergio Escobar
