Critical Thinking Boot Camp for Kids Math and Reading (4th-5th Grade)
Saturday Boot Camp | Math and Reading Practice
High achieving 4th/5th grade students should attend this one-day boot camp session to spruce up math and reading skills and prepare for common core standards and Spring NWEA Map test.
Saturday, April 25th
4-hour session from 1pm to 5pm
Materials included for reading and math practice.
Students will practice abstract and concrete skills using materials based on NWEA curriculum guidelines and aligned to common core state standards. Practice questions will include varying difficulty levels. Students may be presented with a more difficult math concept if he/she answered the previous question correctly, or a less difficult question if the previous questions were missed. Our educators will teach math and reading strategies as well as assist students with personal goals, study habits,and opportunities to extend learning beyond the classroom.
