PARENTS' CARAVAN 43: Come hear from the Parents, Students, & Advocates of Killed and Missing Ayotzinapa College Students
Learn more at: http://www.caravana43.com/about.html

What happened to the Ayotzinapa students?
On September 26, 2014 a group of students were attacked by the police and other people in the city of Iguala, Mexico leaving six dead, 25 or more wounded, and 43 disappeared. While there have been several official and other unofficial investigations as of this date (January 2015) there is no clear idea of what happened to the students. It is not known who killed, wounded, or kidnapped them, nor is there a clear motive.

Caravana43 is a project developed with the purpose of bringing to the United States a group of 16 Ayotzinapa Parents of the 43 Normalista students disappeared on September 26, 2014 in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico. There are three Caravanas covering over 40 cities from the US/Mexico border along the Pacific, central and Atlantic region states.  The purpose of the Caravanas into the States is to give an international forum to the parents who have lost their children to the systemic violence and impunity committed by the Mexican government and its police.

This event is a collaboration between the Center for the Study of Justice in Society and Center for Global Justice at Seattle University and LELO - Legacy of Equality, Leadership and Organizing.

It is free and open to the public. Donations to support the Caravan43 will be welcomed. Contact Ricardo Ortega [ricardo@lelo.org] for more information about how to donate.
