Hank & Dixie and The Knotty Pine Boys

Hank & Dixie and the Knotty Pine Boys are the Seacoast Area's premier old-fashioned classic country band, featuring an all-star cast of the finest local musicians. Their "feel-good" sound features razor-sharp country harmony vocals from Hank (Harvey Reid) & Dixie (Joyce Andersen) Baxter, along with Hank's guitar and Dixie's fiery fiddling, Nick McNeer's (Bruce Derr) peerless pedal steel, Lefty D. Taylor (Kent Allyn) on bass and Rusty Van Fender (Rob Kneeland) on drums. Audience members are encouraged to wear western clothing and test out their Cotton-Eye Joe dance steps, but not to chew tobacco, throw beer bottles or fight.

Expect hot picking, snappy Western beats for boot-tapping and scooting, with fancy singing, and lots of great old songs from artists like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, George Jones, Tom T. Hall, Loretta Lynn, Lefty Frizzell, EmmyLou Harris & more...
