Urban Renewal Revisited
Fifty years ago the face of downtown Hoquiam changed forever as civic leaders carried out Urban Renewal -- a federally-subsidized program that eliminated entire blocks of neglected, yet historic structures.
Please join us for a one-night-only presentation when Polson Museum Director John Larson will lead us on a visual journey through downtown Hoquiam of the 1960s. This not-to-miss event will feature the newly digitized 16mm film "Hoquiam Renewed" along with extensive additional film footage and still photographs from the museum's collection.
