NYCDAT's Holiday Beer, Chocolate & Cheese From Near Pairing Party

It's the 2010 NYCDAT Holiday Pairing Party! With the sponsorship and support of Jimmy's No. 43, Mary Izett and Chris Cuzme of the NYC Degustation Advisory Team will guide through 6 Holiday Beers, specifically paired with 6 different holiday delights (chocolates, pies, cakes, candied popcorn, ...candied bacon) with artisanal cheeses and more. The soundtrack will include an awesome mix of Motown Christmas Music and James Brown's Funky Christmas!!!! simply because.

The event will be held in two sessions on Tuesday, December 14th:

Session I - 6:30pm - 7:45pm

Session II - 8:15pm - 9:30pm

Mary Izett is President Emeritus of The Malted Barley Appreciation Society (MBAS), a columnist for Ale Street News, recognized beer judge, and bloggist for her site mylifeoncraft.com.

Chris Cuzme is current President of the MBAS, Vice President of the New York City Homebrewers Guild, Assistant Director of NY Craft Beer Week, and is involved with the makings of the startup Massachussetts craft brewery, Wandering Star.

NYCDAT is dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of Craft Beer through creative and delectable food pairing.
