A CHRISTMAS CAROL at LA Valley College

It is a time of celebration and joy. Storefronts are illuminated in a shower of red, green, and blue lights while the smell of fresh pine trees drift through the streets. The sound of singing voices permeates each neighborhood as families prepare to feast and make merry. There is a feeling of youthful excitement in the air that can only be described as Christmas. One cold winter night, this feeling of exuberance inspires a community of drifters to spare a copy of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL from the searing flames of a camp bonfire. Despite being homeless, freezing, and hungry on Christmas Eve, these vagabonds act out the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, and discover the true spirit of Christmas.

Pete Parkin's gripping adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL has been a part of Los Angeles Valley College tradition since 2002, receiving glowing reviews from the Tolucan Times,LA Weekly, and The Daily News. Directed by Marjorie Vander Hoff and featuring the talents of Nina Donato, William Burton, John Delbarian, Stephanie Pressman,Karis M. Rossi, Tuba Heatherton, Kris Toranzo, Erin O'Loughlin, John F. Ledley,Roxy Beck, Lilit Arakelyan, Kevin Wilkins, Amanda Stanlow, Briana Norman, Kelsey Rogers, Schneor Wolf, Keith Garrison,Luis Marquez, Carlo Maghirang, Eric Long, Apry'al Mcneil, Leo Amanse,Brandon Batham, and Katie Ann Holland.
