homeLA brings its 9th domestic space and experimental dance event to the J.B. Merrill House in Mount Washington on May 3rd inviting audiences to experience boundary blurring performance.
This installment of homeLA is hosted by Gwen Freeman and Andy Jardini in their craftsman bungalow home. Originally built as a church and outfitted with a pipe organ (no longer in the home) in 1908 the home was designed by the architect H.M. Patterson for Reverend J.B. Merrill. A group of eight artists will perform in response to Gwen and Andre's home.

homeLA is a platform in which experimental performances are developed in response to homes throughout Los Angeles. It combines site-sensitive dance with salon-style performance by bringing dancers, performance, sound and visual artists together.
