In their new show GOING PLACES, Metcalf and Roy take the audience on a tour from Rhode Island to the Riviera and beyond--via song. The evening showcases traveling tunes and divine destinations with music from lyricists as diverse as Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Expect songs about New York, New Orleans, London, Paris, and beyond...
Since 2008 the duo has performed around New England (Scullers Jazz Club, Acton Jazz Cafe, Wellfleet Preservation Hall), and in New York City (Metropolitan Room). Their new album "Don't Bother to Knock," little-known gems from the 1930s to '50s, was released last fall.
