Sam Shepard's award-winning dark comedy is about two estranged brothers who are reunited when the brooding Lee appears after having been out of contact for two years. Austin, a successful screenwriter, tries to appease his brother, but the status quo is irreparably shattered when Austin's movie producer friend meets Lee and is charmed by him.
