Katdelic - Halloween Party
It's party time: Arena Theater and producer Kathryn Gleason will present a Halloween Costume and Dance Party on Saturday, October 30 at 9:00 PM featuring Ronkat Spearman's Katdelic. Doors open at 8:00 PM and the Arena Theater Bar and the snack stand will be open.
Based in San Francisco, Katdelic's band leader Ronkat is a Grammy nominated virtuoso musician and songwriter who plays five different instruments and sings professionally since the age of five.
Since 2001 RonKat is a vocalist and bass player with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. The experience has enriched his talents and pushed his skills to even higher levels of achievement. When he is not touring with GCPF, RonKat performs with his own band, Katdelic, a high energy, rocking original show with an innovative and unique "funklectik" sound that "makes 'em dance".
RonKat is passionate about doing whatever the party calls for when on tour. "RonKat is a crowd pleaser and he is truly funky", says George Clinton. Over the past few years, RonKat has released several CDs, Funky Nation, Cheddar, Little Monsters, and Joy to the Funk, all written, produced and performed by the artist. Each CD has its own distinctive mood and style displaying RonKat's versatility and the common thread is excellent lyrics and tracks. "It's all about the beats for me, coupled with a cool melody and good lyrics. I like to keep my mind open to the pulse of the people, because it inspires me whether I am writing a love song, dance song or working on my Katdelic music," he says. RonKat Spearman is a performer with a dynamic stage presence, an amazing voice, solid playing skills, remarkable versatility and a foundation that will insure his future in the music industry for a long time to come.
Band members are: RonKat Spearman: Vocals, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, Percussion; Michael Cavaseno: Guitar; Kevin Carnes: Drums; Kirk Peterson - Bass K-OS: DJ/Turntables; David Boyce - Horns; Ryan Scott: Trumpet; Pamela Parker and Lady Chi: Vocals.
