Duruflé's Requiem
The Central Virginia Masterworks Chorale will present two offerings of its 2015 Spring Concerts (Duruflé's Requiem & Other Seasonal Selections. One concert is in Ashland, Va. on May 10th. The second is in Richmond on May 17th.
The concert will feature the Requiem by Maurice Duruflé, a work set in nine movements including Pie Jesu, Libera me, and In Paradisum.
David Sinden directs this 35 member community chorale, now in its 9th year. Daniel Stipe is the organist and pianist.
Come listen to this inspirational and moving concert the entire family can enjoy!
