Harold Class

Although one of the most controversial and misunderstood forms in all of improv, The Harold remains one of the oldest and best show structures around. Over 10 weeks, this course focuses on understanding, interpreting, and most importantly, playing the Harold; a form that encourages you to not only improvise sections, but the structure as a whole, too. Learn the basic structure, how to heighten beats, how play together, and how to finish shows strong.

As the Harold is layered and textured, the course will also teach how to look at your Harold show as a whole; making initiations that are strong, group play that is dynamic, and scene choices that are real and grounded. You are at your best while playing the Harold, and this ten week course insures you play the best Harold possible, a while enjoying a safe, and fun environment, with specific and personal feedback.

At the end of this course, you'll be able to understand, deconstruct, and play the Harold. You will be a better long form player, a smarter improviser, and a more confident performer. This course is for experienced improvisers.
