"The Empire Skates Back"
Come out to see Northshore Roller Derby's Lethal Ladies take on the Twin City Knockers from Bossier City, LA, in the 2015 season opener! It's a battle of intergalactic proportions, and Darth Vader will be here, along with some of his troopers. You never know who will be here! Costumes not only welcome, but encouraged!
Doors at The Castine Center in Mandeville open at 6pm on February 28th, and the action starts at 7pm. We will be collecting items for donation to Safe Harbor, a non-profit, non-government agency in St. Tammany Parish serving women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. Items needed included new underwear/bras, new socks, sanitary items such as pads and tampons, full size shampoos and conditioners, deodorant, wash cloths, and pillows. Come on out and support your team, and your community!
