Bernie Lubbers is known as The Whiskey Professor. He works for Heaven Hill Brands in Bardstown and Louisville, Kentucky where he works all over the "Whiskey Trail" representing brands like Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, Larceny, Old Fitzgerald, Bernheim Wheat, Rittenhouse Rye, Parker's Heritage, Henry McKenna, and many more.
On Wednesday, February 4, Bernie will lead us in two rounds of bourbon and pop culture trivia.
We're looking for teams of 4-6 people... and yes, there will be prizes! Note: If you are not purchasing your entire team's tickets together, please let us know your teammates' names, so we're sure to group you together!
Local Three will be providing a pub food spread including:
- Truffle Parmesan Popcorn
- Bourbon Glazed Chicken Wings
- Loaded Tater Tots - Cheddar, Bacon, Sour Cream, Chives
- Smoked Trout Dip - Potato Chips
- BBQ Pork Sliders - Horseradish Slaw
Of course, there will be whiskey! The price of your ticket includes 2 drinks. We'll feature the barrel-aged Carcosa (made with Elijah Craig 12) and a Rittenhouse Rye Sazerac. We'll also have Henry McKenna, Larceny and Bernheim Wheat Whisky on hand to make standard whisky drinks (Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, Sours, etc.) If you're feeling like drinking beer or wine, we'll have you covered there, too.
