Both natives of South Bend, Indiana, they've been sharing their love of genuinely independent music from the day they began working together. The project is intended to establish a lasting means of financial support for the children's education through a product of their own handor rather, voice. They recorded the record in Uganda during their senior year at Notre Dame. More about the project is here: http://www.franceslukeaccord.com/kandote/Their newest release, Queen for Me, was recorded and produced in their home in Chicago during the brutal winter of 2014.
