Watermelon Slim Solo Performance with special guests, the Sugar Thieves

WATERMELON SLIM burst onto the international blues scene in 2005 when he was nominated by the BLUES MUSIC AWARDS as 'Newcomer of the Year'. Between 2007 and 2011, he received 17 other nominations from the same organization, winning the 'Album of the Year' and 'Band of the Year' in 2008. There have been many more awards and honors bestowed on this master of this most original genre of American music.

Little Wing Productions, LLC AZ is proud to bring Slim to Arizona for his first performance in the state, on the evening of Saturday, February 28th. He will display his talent primarily as a solo artist, but you might be seeing some special guests, as well.

Slim will be on stage from 8:00 - 10:00 pm. The entertainment will continue thereafter, deep into the night, with the Valley's own SUGAR THIEVES. Phoenix Magazine's band of the year in 2014, these incredible musicians are the perfect compliment to what was already going to be a stellar evening.

Discounted regular admission tickets will go on sale immediately, as will VIP Admission.

VIP Admission will include preferred seating, a meet and greet/photo op with Slim, a signed show poster, a signed CD by the man himself, as well as a drink ticket.
