Fantasy Reading Series No. 7
This month will feature Lydia Davis!!
LYDIA DAVIS is noted for her short stories but is also a novelist, essayist, and translator from French and other languages, and has produced several new translations of French literary classics, including Proust's Swann's Way and Flaubert's Madame Bovary. Davis was announced as the winner of the 2013 Man Booker International Prize on 22 May 2013.
Opening the night will be poet Sophie Klahr.
SOPHIE KLAHR is a writer from Pittsburgh living in Los Angeles, where she works as a private literary editor for a painter.
This event is generously supported by the National Endowment of the Arts, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
