Women's Intro to Deadlifting Clinic

Coach Andrew "Bull" Stewart and his AAU World Champion Women's Team host this very special clinic on how to properly and safely deadlift. Never lifted heavy before? We got you covered!

Located at the Columbia City Fitness Center on Rainier Ave S, Bull Stewart and his coaching staff will instruct the proper technique of deadlifting, one of the three "big lifts" in the sport of Powerlifting. Supported by his champion women athletes, participants will be able to gain real life experience of lifting in a safe, supportive environment. At the end of the event, participants will watch a showcase of competitive lifting by the women of the Bull Stewart Power Team.

Never lifted? Worried you may be too old or out of shape? Not a problem! Women of all ages, abilities and health levels have not only excelled in deadlifting, but often wind up giving competing a shot! With the right instruction and support, you'd be amazed with what you can achieve!

Powerlifting Coach and Trainer, Andrew "Bull" Stewart, has over 30 years of experience training and coaching elite athletes and newbies alike. A 15-time Drug Free World Champion Powerlifter himself, Bull advocates natural, drug free training and competition at any age. His women's team athletes range from 15 to 65 years of age from all walks of life.

Participants should wear gym shorts, tee shirt, knee high socks and flat shoes (such as Converse). Belts will be provided.
