The Camden Chocolate Covered Nutcracker
Creative Arts High School (Principal Dr. Coe Brockington) is proud to present The Chocolate Covered Nutcracker! A contemporary adaptation to the traditional story created by George Balanchine. This holiday classic directed by Omar-Frederick Pratt and choreographed by LaCeda Nelson is one the whole family can enjoy. Come out and see the story of a young girl named Clara who takes the world by storm as she tries to find the origin of her toy nutcracker. This performance features live music from our Orchestra, Instrumental Music and Vocal Music students, stirring dance performances from our Dance Department, and power dialogue from our Drama Department. Guest appearances will also be made from Studio Diva and Dare2Dance students. Be sure to start your holiday season off right with this classic tale with a new twist.
