KOKZ Bright Side Fishing Derby for Camp Courageous
Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 4th from 8am-12pm at Pleasant Creek Lake State Recreation Area.
$5.00 pp or $15 for a family.
Prizes will be given for largest fish based upon weight as determined by the Competition Committee.
The Competition Committee will be responsible for weighing all fish for prizes. Weights will be given to the hundredth of a pound: (0.00).
A fish may only be entered for prizes one time. After entry of any fish for a prize it will be cleaned by event staff and may be returned to the participant at that time. Event staff may determine whether a fish is eligible for prize consideration prior to or after weighing/cleaning.
Prizes in open/adult division will be awarded for:
A) The 10 largest crappies;
B) The 10 largest Bluegills:
C) The 5 largest pairs consisting of one bluegill and one crappie. (both fish must be presented for weight at the same time and it will be awarded by total weight for both fish).
Prizes in youth (age 15 & under) division will be awarded for:
A)The 10 largest crappies;
B) The 10 largest Bluegills:
Prizes will be awarded for fish that are not large enough to qualify for largest fish awards on a random basis:
A) 4 random awards for fish weighed before 9 am
B) 4 random awards for fish weighed between 9-10am
C) 2 random awards for fish weighed between 10-11am
** A complete set of rules will be available the day of the event.
COVID-19 Liability Waiver
While we are taking measures to enhance the safety of our visitors, performers, and employees, there are still risks presented by COVID-19. In an effort to be transparent with our guests and to protect the Venue and Event Organizer, we require all visitors to read and accept the COVID-19 Liability Waiver below:
By purchasing tickets and entering the Venue, I agree to comply with all policies, guidelines, and preventive measures implemented designed to reduce the spread of COVID-19, as well as applicable federal, state, and local government rules, regulations, and recommendations, and I acknowledge:
Despite efforts to enact health and safety measures, entering the Venue and attending this Event still may pose a risk to my safety and presents an increased risk of exposure to and infection with COVID-19.
I assume and accept all risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 along with all consequences resulting from exposure or infection, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, temporary or permanent disability, death, and economic or financial loss. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims, including but not limited to claims of negligence.
Admission to the Event may be conditioned on meeting certain criteria and compliance with rules and regulations which we may establish at the time to protect all involved with the concert, lecture and/or event, including but not limited to wearing of a face covering at all times over nose and mouth, and a health screening process, which may include but not be limited to a temperature check, vaccination verification, and my certification that at the time of entry I have not been diagnosed with, had close contact with someone who was diagnosed with, or exhibited known symptoms of, COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Visitors who do not follow applicable protocols or meet vaccination requirements may be asked to leave the premises. Event Organizer and Venue reserve the right to remove any person acting in an unacceptable or inappropriate manner, including but not limited to abusive or threatening behavior.

I'm trying to register for the family pack for the fishing derby but do not see an option for that.. also, is it just shire fishing or can you use a boat? |
