Join us for the first annual 5K Family Fun Run on the beautiful 312 River Run Trail from Clark Park to Horner Park and back. It's a fundraiser to support the work of the Clark Park & Horner Park Advisory Councils.
The event will begin at 9:00 AM on June 25th with registration at the WMS Boathouse in Clark Park located at 3400 N. Rockwell St. The race will start at 10:00 AM at the south end of Clark Park along the river trail. From there you will run north along the award winning WMS boathouse, through Clark Park, under Addison Ave, over the spectacular flyover bridge to California Park, then under Irving Park Road to Horner Park. The run continues around Horner Park, returns south along the same path to Clark Park and finishes at the boathouse.
Parking is available at DePaul College Prep - 3333 N Rockwell St. and Lane Tech High School (enter off Western Ave)
You may pick up race materials before the race at Burning Bush Brewery - 4014 N. Rockwell St. on Thursday June 23 from 6 - 8pm.
The After Run Party will be at Burning Bush Brewery starting at 11:00 am Saturday.
Your ticket includes admission to the event and a custom T-shirt designed especially for the day. Please provide a T-shirt size with each ticket purchased. Because of supply-chain issues, availability of all sizes can not be guaranteed with sales after June 11th.
Ticket prices are $35 for adults and $20 for children. Children 5 and under are free. The event is held rain or shine. No refunds nor exchanges will be given after purchase.
