Space Disco Halloween Party at The Velvet Elk

You know you dont want to toss candy at socially distanced trick or treaters. You know you cant watch another horror movie where a libidinous co-ed meets their demise by way of a psychos axe. No, you want to beam up to another planet and escape another ordinary earthbound hallows eve. Well, now is your chance, come step onto the Velvet Elk transporter and teleport far far away to a swaggy, retro-futuristic space disco! Featuring far-out space-themed cocktails as only The Velvet Elk can make, the otherworldly sounds of intergalactic disco, spun by your favorite binaural astronaut, DJ Casewag (no way!). MC'd by the time-traveling vaudevillian, Bella Biagio (what! wasnt she hit by a ufo?). A costume contest with prizes that threaten to go supernova (are you kidding?!). A raffle ticket drawing with a star cluster of prizes that include the following delights:

A $25 Velvet Elk gift certificate (whoa!)
A Velvet Elk t-shirt (I have to have that!)
House-made Velvet Bitters (Yes, the very one the aliens keep coming for!)
House-made Atomic Brandied Cherries (I just fell down and I can't get up!)
And finally, a 2-hour exclusive upstairs reservation for a small gathering of your favorite space cadets (And now you have gone just too far!)

The details and some rules because there are always rules, especially during a ceaseless and decidedly earthly pandemic:
-Blast off time: Sunday, October 31 from 5 to 10 pm
-21 and over with ID and vaccination proof required. No exceptions!
-This is a ticket-only event. No tickets will be available at the door to ensure the expected capacity of under 30 guests
-Ticket price includes entry, your first cocktail, and 1 raffle ticket
-You may purchase more raffle tickets at the party at $2 each
