Black Dog: The Burial
In October 2018, Pizza Chapel Theatre Company staged a production of Chris Fontanes' Black Dog, which explored the #MeToo movement in a macabre, site-specific theatre experience. In Black Dog, we met Rainy and Ophelia, two women who used vigilantism, cannibalism, and a little bit of witchcraft to punish wicked men that commit crimes against women. Through the course of the original, we watch them torture, toy with, and murder a man that harmed a woman very near the both of them.

Join us for Black Dog: The Burial as we meet up with these characters again in an original story inspired by Fontanes' work. In a brutal night of vitriol, violence, and magic, we will be witness to the aftermath of Rainey and Ophelia's brutal deeds and uncover the motive of their 14th kill.

Virtual and Drive-in tickets will be made available for this production.
DRIVE-IN PERFORMANCES will take place on October 29, 30, & 31 at 8:30 pm.
VIRTUAL STREAMED PERFORMANCE will be October 31st at 8:30 pm.

Audience members that reserve in-person tickets to our drive-in event should expect to travel on dirt roads to the final burial destination. In the interest of keeping out audiences small and COVID safe, all in-person tickets must be reserved in advance. The address for our undisclosed location will be distributed on the day of performances to individuals who have already reserved their tickets. For planning purposes, audiences can expect to drive to the 75228 area. GUEST ATTENDING OUR DRIVE-IN EVENT SHOULD BE PREPARED TO ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY.

weeks prior to the run of the show and during the run of the show. Both cast members will live
in the same household during the quarantine.

o 5 days and 2 days prior to opening night both cast members will subject themselves to
drive-thru COVID-19 testing. This is to ensure we have the most accurate results at the
time of the showing and they will completely quarantine during this process as they will
not be wearing masks during the production.
o We will make all test results available via pizzachapel.ucraft.site/ and on IG
stories to provide transparency to the Cast and Crew.
o The crew of Black Dog: The Burial have agreed to quarantine and test via drive-thru testing 72 hours prior to the run.
o All test results will be made available via pizzachapel.ucraft.site/ and IG stories.
oAll crew will wear masks that meet the most current CDC guidelines.

any pre-sanitized marketing or menus that we will have available.
o If a patron would prefer, they can have the menus attached to their windshield.
o All menus will be one-time use only as not to cross-contaminate between shows.
o All concessions will be sold via text. Cash and cashless options will be available.
o A table will be available at each driver's side for Crew to deliver concessions safely.
o During the run-time, patrons will be required to leave their cars on, lights off, and windows up.
o At this time, we will not be permitting patrons to sit in the bed of a truck or SUV hatch.
o Each car will be parked in their reserved spot 1-by-1 by a staff member of PCTC. This is to ensure the safety of all crew that will be working on foot.
