Appeal Salons are intensive, small group, half-day appeal writing workshops designed for busy nonprofit professionals.
I'll guide you through creative brainstorming and writing exercises to help you uncover the most compelling story to tell about your organization's work. Then, as a group, we'll work together to draft and critique. You'll leave with a strong draft of your year-end appeal.
It will be creative. It will be fun. You will feel great.
This year, salons are moving online. We'll meet via Zoom (I'll send you a link via email before class).
The registration fee includes four hours of instruction, creative brainstorming, drafting, and peer review. Also: laughter, inspiration, and camaraderie.
The registration fee is based on your organization's operating budget: Less than $1m: $150 per person $1m-$2.5m: $200 per person $2.5m or more: $250 per person
