TACKLE BOX KITCHEN SUMMER BBQ JAM 1.0
Award winning Chef Keith Rhodes of Catch Restaurants, TBK & VOYCE catering is kickin off Summer 2020 with a fun BBQ series featuring locally sourced, wood grilled Seafood paired with some kick ass BBQ from Chef Brandon Shepard. Born and raised in North Carolina, owner/pitmaster Brandon Shepard hopes to add to the already rich and illustrious reputation of the Tar Heel State. Shepard finds pride in the deep roots African Americans have had in the contribution and progression of barbecue in America. Shepard Barbecue breaks the boundaries of conventional cliches but still respecting old world techniques made and mastered by legends before us. We use all wood, and all heritage breed animals . We do our best to source ingredients all over NC. Menu items will include Grilled Oysters from Middle Sound Mariculture and Cornmeal fried Catfish from Carolina classics.From the smoker weve got Al pastor Spare ribs, Brisket tacos, Oaxacan Chicken and an array of seasonal vegetables & sides to make it complete. It all takes place at Seven Mile post. The space has been properly social distanced inside and out. So buy a ticket, relax and let the music play.
