SILVER SPRING, MD. Flying V is proud to present: Incorporating Character Into Your Ring Work with Mike Quackenbush from 1-4pm on March 21st, at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre!
At Flying V Fights: Pro Wrestling, Character Work is the very first aesthetic criteria we evaluate when we decide what talent to use on a show or to put on the roster. That may be obvious in an entrance where your persona, mannerisms, entrance music, and gear are all on display. But what's really exciting, and much more difficult, is when those unique character traits and choices are incorporated into your match itself - from the style of your movement, to how you approach your moveset, to your unique actions and reactions in the ring. That's why we're thrilled to present this exclusive Seminar geared towards helping you make and refine those in ring choices from a character perspective. Mike Quackenbush is the CHIKARA PRO WRESTLING Founder, Wrestle Factory Head Trainer, and frequent WWE Guest Coach, who has trained some of the best in the business. He is uniquely qualified to help assist you in finding ways to identify and articulate aspects of your character that can be used in the ring, and activate your matches in unique and character focused ways. This seminar will include both a lecture and in ring portions.
One talent will be selected from the Seminar to participate in a paid role at our evening event FIGHT OR FLIGHT 2!
Experience necessary, must be trained to participate.
