Mushroom Identification Basics and the Virginia Big 20 [Late]
Mushroom Identification Basics & The Virginia Big 20 is designed to instruct beginners on the anatomical observations needed to identify 20 common mushrooms.
In two and a half hours you can learn a lot about mushrooms; how they grow, what they look like, and when to look for them.
Franklin County Parks & Rec has agreed to host us at the Essig Center in Rocky Mount, VA where Stephen will present the material and open a general discussion about mushrooms on the 3rd Thursday of each month from noon to 2:30 [Early] and again from 6:00 to 8:30 [Late].
Tickets are $10 for adults 18-49, $5 for 8-17 or 50-69, and FREE for under 8 and over 69. Please make sure to verify which class you are signing up for by noting the Early / Late identifier in the title. You can buy tickets at the door but please purchase tickets in advance (the space we get is dependent on the numbers shown before Day Of).
