Hedge-wichery for Beginners

At its most basic, hedge witchery is about healing our environment, our community, and ourselves, by working with the gifts and lessons that surround us every day. We'll sink into caring for animal, plant and land as an extension of caring for ourselves. Come learn about wild edible and medicinal plants in a safe and welcoming environment. From teas to tinctures, salads to salves, Nature offers both food and pharmacy. You'll learn to identify a variety of common beneficial plants, both wild and cultivated, and how to use them as part of nourishment of body and self. We will have herbal infusion to drink during the event, and gather as a group to make a tincture of what we gather for each guest to take home!

Adults only.

A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.

Nestled in the valleys of beautiful New Glarus, Harmony Farm is a small woman-owned and operated farm passionate about sustainable agriculture, responsibly raised food, and the joy and health of our animals and the earth. The farm offers wetlands, restored trout stream, prairie, and a meditation labyrinth. We raise pastured meat goats and poultry, and our motto has always been "Respect and care, from pasture to plate.
