Harvest Event 2019
The Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir will perform joyful, inspiring songs at the annual Harvest Event on Saturday, November 2, at 7 p.m. This evening celebrates Black cultural awareness.
The event will take place at the Arcata Presbyterian Church, located on the corner of 11th & G Streets in Arcata. The show will include the AIGC Teen and Youth Choirs, No Wahala Body, Galilee Baptist Church Eureka, Eureka Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the Redwood Teen Challenge Choir. Douglas Smith will emcee the show.
The choir is directed by Valetta Molofsky and accompanied by a full band. Free refreshments will be served after the concert.
Tickets are $15 general, $12 for students and seniors, and free for kids five and under.
Founded in 1992, the mission of the AIGC is to inspire faith, hope, love, unity and joy. The choir performs throughout the North Coast at community events, benefits, memorials, churches and for inmates at the Humboldt County jail.
