I conceived the If My Grandma Were To Cook You Lunch and Dinner Series to recreate the magic that took place at my grandmas kitchen. - Jezabel Careaga
Manuela, born and raised in Maracaibo, is the fantastic chef behind Puyero. It is really due to her mother, a pastry baker in her native Venezuela, and grandmother, that she found a love for cooking, usually citing them as her greatest inspirations.
Just like at her restaurant, she is bringing to our table authentic Venezuelan flavors that will make you dance in your seat.

Rótolo de Puerro y Queso Gouda
Leeks and Gouda cheese roll
Ensalada Fresca con Palmitos
Heart of palm, corn, tomato, arugula, beets, and onions salad
Pastel de Pollo, Plátanos, Arroz y Ensalada de mango
Chicken pie with raisins and gouda, served with sweet plantains, white rice and mango salad
Tres Leches
Sponge cake soaked in a sweet milk mixture topped with coconut flakes and dulce de leche
