Blerds in the Wizarding World Halloween Fundraiser

***DUE TO POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS ON THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT, WE HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE IT TO BAR CULTURE ON 4033 TULANE AVE. NEW ORLEANS, LA. WE WON'T LET A LITTLE RAIN STOP OUR PARTY!***

ALL NERDS, GEEKS, AND PEOPLE IN BETWEEN. Come Geek Out with us at Culture Park and party with us this Halloween weekend to help our young anime club members get to Wizard Con New Orleans on January 4th, 2020. Each ticket purchased will include entry, a food ticket, and a free ticket for various raffles. All Proceeds will be donated to Share The Culture, Inc. to purchase tickets and cover expenses for all Anime Club members entry into Wizard Con New Orleans.

This event will include:

-Multiple Raffles throughout the evening with various prizes (extra tickets will be sold on site)
-Costume Contest (Best Female, Best Male, Best Couple/Group)
-Trivia Contest
-Food
-Giant Board Games
-And More

Come enjoy the start of your Halloween weekend with us. Bring out your best cosplay, costume, or party attire and come support our young members and fellow geeks.

Our organization facilitates anime clubs at McDonogh 35 Senior High School and Schaumburg Elementary. These clubs have provided our members avenues to express their thoughts, ideas, and passions in safe inclusive spaces as well as provide them opportunities to gain new experiences. Due to the popularity of our clubs, membership has grown tremendously. Last year we took 15 young members to their first Wizard Con. This year we are attempting to purchase tickets for up to 40 members. Please come Share the Culture at Culture Park and support our efforts to expose our youth to new worlds and inspire them to embrace their passions.
