Halloween Ballroom Blitz

We are thrilled to announce our second annual Save A Cemetery party, the Halloween Ballroom Blitz, is set for Friday, October 25, 2019. This years event is a costume party at the beautiful Riverdale Banquet Hall in Endwell, NY. Come as you are or come in your wildest costume!

The party has expanded in time and space. We kick off the Blitz at 7 p.m. with DJ John Yianni Koutsaris plus live music with John Penird and The Mixtapes in the Bar area. In the Ballroom, dont miss the Divas After Dark featuring DeDe Kupps, Katrina, Monroe Sedgwick and Peaches E. Claire. Prepare for an evening dancing with great photo ops, Hors doeuvres and chances to win great items at our silent auction! Cash bars will be open til 1 a.m.!

Save A Cemetery is a non-profit entity with the mission to repair and restore cemeteries in need in our area. Our pioneering project began with the historic Hooper Patterson Family Cemetery on River Road in Endwell, NY. Last year we met our goal of raising funds to complete the cleaning and restoration of all the headstones present at the cemetery. This coming year we are focusing on the restoration of the fence around the cemetery with an entrance gate. Making the cemetery a valuable and accessible place to visit is essential for those who take pride in our region and are curious about local heritage. The estate of Amos Patterson still stands today as the Washingtonian Hall just down the road from the family cemetery.
