Chickenshed Theatre Class for Ages 6-13

Everyone is welcome! Every idea is valued!

Your child will be part of creating original beautiful theatre through storytelling, dance and music. Our process focuses on each child's individual creativity and strengths, cultivating a theatre family of peers with different backgrounds, abilities and talents. Our no-audition philosophy fosters inclusion, compassion and kindness that results in a vibrant and unforgettable experience. The final performance grows organically from the ideas and abilities of the children that's the magic of Chickenshed!

Why the name Chickenshed? The first show took place in a chicken shed in the English countryside more than 45 years ago and we are thrilled to bring our unique methodology to NYC. At the core of Chickenshed's ethos is a promise that no child is labeled and whatever your child's ability, they are fully included.
