Summer Meltdown Urban Dance Competition 2019
Summer Meltdown is an Urban Dance Competition hosted by Soundbox Dance Studios. We wanted to create a platform for our growing community to gather, connect, compete and celebrate! Every year, we strive to bring the best of the best to compete for over $2,000 in cash prizes. This will be our 4th year as a competition and we have become THE End-of-Summer dance event in Texas!
The competing teams get bigger and better every year, so we are going bigger and better with a new venue, The Stafford Centre! A massive, seated, theater with plenty of space for our audience, as well as our competitors.
This year's judges, Taryn Cheng, Teej Medallo, and Archie Saquillabon, all hail from the illustrious GRV of Walnut, CA. This Award Winning and Championship team (Body Rock 2019 - 1st Place) has a reputation for bringing the hype so you know the competitors will have to bring it to win them over!
